Cost:
- Some insurances do cover Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (particularly Hippotherapy.) Joyful Strides does NOT bill insurance, but may be able to provide you with the necessary documentation to submit for reimbursement. Hippotherapy is part of a treatment plan developed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Joyful Strides is working on building scholarship opportunities for those who demonstrate great financial need through the Joyful Strides Foundation. We also may be able to refer clients with financial need to other community resources who may be able to help.
- Physician consent is also required. You can download a Physician’s Consent form to take in to your doctor under our Release/Liability Forms page.
